Finally, we're considered Zone 6…we've been planting like zone 6 for years, even though USDA said we were Zone 5.  Beware though that many plants that are considred to thrive in zone 6 southern states, doesnt mean they will thrive in our tough environment with clay soil and hot summers.  We recommend using only plants that are proven to thrive in this area and/or are grown locally.
