SERVICE UPDATE:
All of our crews are doing the best they can to work and stay on schedule, but the rain has been relentless this May. The average rainfall for May is less than 3.5". So far this year we've had almost 10" and still counting. Our shrub trimming crews will be later than previous years because of this. Also, you may notice your shrubs are much more grown out because of the heavy rainfall. Please be patient and know we are doing our best to serve you.
We hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend!!
Rain, rain, go away!
We are working Saturday and Sunday this weekend to make up for our two rain days this week. The good news is there are sunny days ahead, forecasted by KCTV5 News. Hold off on those rain dances for a while, please!
Thank you again for your patience in waiting out the rain with us.
Don't get caught with frozen pipes when we experience our first hard freeze in Kansas City this year. According to the How Do Gardner there is a 90% chance of our first frost date being after October 28th* & the first freeze being after November 8th*. That being said, we strongly urge you to schedule your irrigation lines to be blown out using our compressor machine as soon as possible. It is especially important for those who have an above-ground backflow preventer because they are more susceptible to damage during a freeze.
Hear this message from our owner Kent Girton in this short video clip:
We've become aware of an internal problem receiving @kc.rr.com emails into @aspenlawn.com emails. There is no problem with outgoing emails to @kc.rr but incoming emails from those addresses were being returned to the sender. If you have sent someone at Aspen an email and have a kc.rr.com email address, it may have not been received. We are working to correct the problem and it should be resolved soon.
